The University of Central Oklahoma Hockey Team held their annual golf fundraiser on Monday August 28th at Rose Creek Golf Club. The tournament this year brought in new faces as well as new sponsorships for the Bronchos. “We are excited for the new partnerships that we have been able to add this season and look forward to many more years to come with our new sponsors.” Head Coach, Michael Rivera said.
The Bronchos count on fundraisers, sponsorships, and donations to help with their budget each season. These sponsorships help offset the cost of travel, fees, and meals throughout the year. “Each year we have to raise approximately 85% of our budget,” said Jeff Smith, General Manager for the Bronchos, “We rely on the generosity of donations and our sponsors to help give our student athletes the best experience possible.”
UCO will have their annual Blue vs Gold game on September 9, 2023 at 7:30pm before the official start of the season against the University of Alabama September 15th and 16th.
