Interim Head Coach– Jonas Hostovecky
Coach Jonas Hostovecky started with his youth career in the Slovak Republic and continuing through his experiences in Sweden, Czechia, and Austria. With five championships under his belt, he transitioned to junior hockey in Florida, where he played for the Florida Jr. Blades and Florida Eels in the USPHL. Notably, he won the USPHL Championship with the Jr. Blades and earned accolades as the best defender in the league.
He then began his collegiate playing career at Anna Maria College in Massachusetts (NCAA DIII). After two seasons, he transferred to the University of Central Oklahoma, where his first year was impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. In his senior year, he helped lead his team to the National Championship Finals.
Now in his first season as a coach, Coach Hostovecky brings a wealth of experience and a passion for the game. Outside of hockey, he enjoys watching sports, staying active, and traveling. He has Bachelor’s degree from UCO in Psychology and his Master’s degree in Business Administration.
