Has achieved USA Hockey's Master Coaching education Level. Is currently the Associate Coach in Chief of the Rocky Mountain District with USA Hockey. Has been actively involved in the Rocky Mountain District Player Development camps as well as coached in several USA Hockey Select Festivals. Coached and developed the University of Oklahoma hockey program; including. a record of 48-17-4 the 2 years he coached. Has also coached at the Chicago Showcase three times for Team Southwest. Was a 2 time MCHL first team all-star and was a team captain 3 times while attending Ohio University as an undergraduate. Helped lead Ohio to 2 straight MCHL titles.

Originally from Sudbury, Ont, Brian played professionally for 18 seasons. As a rugged winger, he spent parts of five seasons with the Boston Bruins and four seasons playing in the World Hockey Association with the New York Raiders, New Jersey Golden Blades, Syracuse Blazers and the San Diego Mariners. Recently, he has been the assistant coach for the Central Hockey League's, Oklahoma City Blazers from 1992 thru the 2002 seasons.

Head of Recruiting Mitch joins the UCO Bronchos staff after 3 successful seasons as General Manager for the Chicago Force Jr. B Hockey club (CSHL). During his tenure with the Force, he helped move over 40 players to Jr. A and college hockey programs, including placing 7 former Force players on UCO’s inaugural season team. His eye for talent and character will help ensure a successful influx of players into the program each year.
